Conditions of entry and general information

-All classes are open to non-YFC members but there will be an overall prize for the YFC member with the most points over the day.

-Classes will be judged under British Show Jumping (BSJA) Rules 2008.

-Judges decision is final.

-Hard hats to Standard BN1384, PAS015 or ASTM F1136 MUST be worn at all times when mounted.

-Any objections must be handed to the Secretary in writing within half an hour of the incident.

-Health and Safety The organisers of the event have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the organisers and all officials on site.

-Legal Liability Neither the organisers nor any person acting on their behalf accept any liability for loss, damage, accident, injury or illness to horses, riders, spectators or any other persons or property whatsoever.

- Competitors to jump under own insurance, (BHS, Pony Club etc)

All entries are: £6 for non-YFC members
and £5 for YFC members.

Classes

Class 1 to start at 9.30am prompt.
Classes 1, 2 and 4 will be run as 2-phase

Class 1)
This is an individual competition.
Fences to be 2ft3 (70cms)

Class 2)
This is an individual competition.
Fences to be 2ft7 (80cms)

Class 3)
This is an team relay competition.
Fences to be 2ft3 to 2ft7 (70-80cms)
Teams will run off together in heats over a mirror-jumping style course. Fastest team wins.
£100 to winning team.

Class 4)
This is an individual competition.
Fences to be 2ft9 (85cms).

Class 5)
This is a pairs relay competition.
Fences to be 2ft7 to 3ft (80-95cms)
Pairs will complete one round in a team chase style. Fastest pair wins.
£60 to winning pair.

Prizes

Rosettes are to be given in all classes from 1st to 6th place, with a shield to each winner and a trophy going to the Young Farmer with the most points over the whole day!

The YFC winning member of the day will be judged on each competitors results during the day in classes 1-5.

A win will score you 5points, 2nd – 4points,
3rd – 3points, 4th – 2points and 5th and
6th – 1point.
